Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery
The Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery is a team of surgeons, physicians, fellows, nurse practitioners and nurses who specialize in caring for women with pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence and other conditions affecting the pelvic floor.
We specialize in surgical and non-surgical options for treatment of these conditions. Non-surgical options include treatments such as pelvic floor physical therapy, pessary use, home exercise regimens, Peripheral nerve stimulation and medication. Surgical interventions focus on minimally invasive options, but may include vaginal, laparoscopic, robotic and in some cases abdominal surgeries.
Our experienced team believes that a multidisciplinary approach to care is the most effective way to treat pelvic floor disorders, and work to tailor therapies to the needs of each woman’s unique circumstances.
